Summer Writers' Workshop

The Summer Writers’ Workshop is an 8-week intensive writing program designed to help students find their voice in writing. Students write poems and stories for The Boot, a literary journal for, by and about youth. The program ends with public readings of their work.

Students earn high school credit for their work, and/or may be placed in the City of Seattle Summer Youth Employment Program. Applications for this program are usually accepted in April.
